Sauro Degli Esposti established MATCH ITALIA INTERNATIONAL in Carpi, thirty years ago. During the course of the years, his experience ac- quired in the field as a sales representative, pluck, courage and a strong desire to emerge, became the “initial capital” of this project.
Initiated in the Enzo Ferrari school in Maranello, Sauro, a big modern art fan, brought with him lots of experience and impetus, recklessness, ingenuity and curiosity for the unexplored. Focused on women’s ready to wear, MATCH ITALIA INTERNATIONAL was set up to manufacture collections in outsourcing in what was a very particular time for the fashion system. Specific market movement was used by Sauro to define the particular aspects of his company and “train” for a precious, upmarket product with a strong market appeal.
When, in 1998, he was joined by his sister Narda, MATCH ITALIA INTERNATIONAL was ready to leave its mark with the LE FATE brand. Narda had specific expertise in the sales sector: she was the owner of boutiques handling major international fashion designer names, and has that particular knack of understanding what women want. Hard work, careful research into social phenomena and taste, enabled LE FATE to take a position in the “designer look” segment.
Right from the first seasons of life, the LE FATE collection successfully launched out onto the market.
